just checking in...
found the adf and scan table for this model... giving a line on lagging edge for the adf and a line on the top for the scan table... noticed that the page was off... not aligned... just did some research and found adjustment 4c and 4d in the service manual... just checking if there is anything else that I can do and if I need to order any special alignment sheets...
heading back on friday to complete...

I do this stuff on the weekends too
Those adjustments are in sim 50-28 they are automatic adjustments. They will print out a alignment page that you put on the glass or adf depending on the adj,then press execute. when you go into the adjustment select all the drawers and it will print out a page for each drawer. Then it will instruct you to put the first page on glass,press execute and so on for the rest of the drawers. Hope this makes some kind of sense for you.
Make sure that the slit glass white plate is clean ... not scarred. That can cause fine lines in the void area, when scanning through the DF.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
