    MX-5070 C1-07

    Anyone else having problems with the yellow charger cleaners? Sharp seems to know the problem exists (tech pub stating the problem), but I have yet to find a solution to the couple I have out that consistently throws this code. I have replaced the PCU, the cleaner motor, the sensor, and the sensor actuator. Sharp has said that there is a burr in where the actuator slides. I have cleaned it all out along with putting a new actuator in with no luck. The actuator slides smoother than the other 3 colors. I honestly don't know where else to go on the problem? Has anyone come up with a solution yet?

    Pull out the yellow developer unit and look at the cover just above mag roller.......it probably is sitting higher on the rear side. Take cover off and remove some of the foam seal re seat and make sure it is sitting flush, just as the front side does.

    This has taken care of issue for me.

    This is not isolated to the yellow dv unit, can happen with all.

    When the MC cleaner moves it is bumping into the DV cover.

    TIMEOUT.....

    Sorry the cover in question is just below the mag roller. Sorry, it all blends into one big problem after a while..... Here is picture

    We have turned off the charge cleaner for now until sharp fix this .
    in sim
    Disable Corona Cleaner
    SIM 44-28 MC_CLEAN_TIME to a "0"
