    Just give the copier a new IP address and build a new port for the print driver.

    This is easier than working with the IT department that never does anything wrong.

    You can try new IP but I suspect whatever new security/ port scanning software is on the "new server" will continue to "wake up" machine. You (IT) should be able to create an exception in the software.

    You may want to try going into security settings and disable any unused ports on the machine itself.
