Question regarding data stored on Sharp MXM264N SD card

MFP is a Sharp MXM264N with no data security kit and no HDD installed.
If data is scanned or copied, is the scanned image retrievable from the SD card afterwards?
I was wondering if there is a security issue when replacing these.
