Sharp MX-C402SC Error Code H5-01

Hey guys,

Helping my dad with a Sharp MX-C402SC which is showing up an error code H5-01. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks.

That is referring to jamming at the POD1 sensor 5 times in a row. This is the sensor directly after paper exits the fuser. Could be a bad fuser. What condition is the paper in? Use Sim 14 to cancel code to resume normal operation.

Check to see if the primary transfer blade is flipped, usually when I get this code on those models the transfer belt is not moving.

The machine's signaling a paper jam. The paper comes out folded like a paper fan. After the 4th jam, we cleared the error using simulation #14. Will have a look at the transfer belt. Thanks to all for the replies.

if the paper is coming out of the fuser and fan folding look for a torn piece of paper blocking the paper path.
