is there diff w/ AR M277 and AR M317 DV unit?

Have a M317 with bad mag roller. Looking over our old scrap parts machines. Most DV units and misc parts pulled and set in piles. Unfortunately, some of the M317 and 277 series got mixed together. Looking over the DV units ALL look the same but I know at least one of them is a M317 while most are M277 series.
Thinking may be essentially same although parts manuals list a diff part number.
Can't tell. Has anyone reading this swapped out DV units from the really older M277 series with the somewhat older M317's

I believe dv units will interchange but I think process units will not fit

pretty sure they will interchange, even as old as AR275 possibly (think we did that 1x)

I would think if there is a difference it is probably minor as the part # for AR-M277 dv unit is CBOX-0001JS5G and the part # for AR-M317 dv unit is CBOX-0001JS5K
