    MX-M753N POD_N1

I have a 753 that is jamming every 70 to 80 copies. only seems to happen when doing multiple copies ( Larger Runs) page stops before fuser and has a fold in it with corners bent. Fuser drive unit doesn't look bad but I have one on order. It reminds me of the jams you get on MX-5100s that have a broken transfer belt Gear. Any suggestions are appreciated. It is a pretty long dive so I'd like to be ready for most probable possibilities.

    Thanks

The drive unit should take care of it. Thats a common problem with that model. There is a bulletin for it.

I always like to leave a final outcome when I post on this Forum.
I ordered the fuser drive unit and installed it yesterday.
Ran 100 copies jammed at about 87 exactly like it did before same folds same dogears.
I then replaced the Fuser unit and ran over 100 with no issues.
I guess I will hear from customer if issue continues ( I hate intermittant problems)

Thanks for all of the responses

The only dog earring I've seen is when the exit guide ribs on the fuser cake up with toner causing jamming and dog ears. Just clean off the ribs and problem should be resolved.

Had a similar scenario on one of our machines intermittent duplex jams (POD1) tried the drive/fuser rebuild/transfer with no success, replaced the fuser unit and the fault was resolved

hope you get the same result mate

    all the best
