    Sharp 2610 curly paper

    Hi friends

Sharp 2610n curls the paper, It is very visible on A3 paper. I have a few of them with the same issue.
I noticed that problem is with the delivery unit. When I swap it paper comes out fine.

Does anybody know what case the problem? Both delivery units looks the same and I cannot understand where is the problem.
I hope you experienced the same problem before and know the solution.

    Thank you in advance.
    Jack

Do the delivery units both have the foam rollers attached?

No they don't. I believe that delivery sponges could help but both units do not have them and one works fine. If I good remember they should be installed next to plastic rollers (where spring is attached) but nothing is there.

Interesting. I have had this problem when the foam rollers are removed, but it always goes away when I reinstall them.

I have installed both delivery units to the same machine so it cannot be fuser related issue because one delivery unit works fine and the second curl paper.

Yes it is very interesting. I believe these rollers can solve the problem however I do not have them and local dealers cannot get them too.
Do you know where can I purchase them?

Anyway I cannot findo out why one unit works fine even without foam rollers.

check your fuser. sharp made a modification in the fuser and changed the pressure roller inside the belt from a orange one to a newer brown one. they changed it on all aries1 virgo1 and polaris machines for the same reason. sometimes paper will curk behind the fuser belt on the bigger machines also.

Check the bar that runs across the face of the 1st post fuser delivery unit as these warp under the heat and with uneven pressure comes paper issues. There is mileage as others have said too in fitting the exit unit foam rollers.

    Good Luck

    Gareth
