    Sharp Counterfeit Protection

Have a law firm who is needing to make copies of checks for records purposes. The job log shows multiple 'Counterfeit Protection' errors. Are their requirements such as b/w only or other things they can do to allow this?

Yes, black and white only, or try to enlarge or reduce the image being scanned.

On Savin/Ricoh color machines, I BELIEVE the enlarge/reduce settings are 124% or 74%.... it's been a while since I tested it. Using B&W still gives you the "Black Box" printouts.

I always thought if you tried multiple times it locked the machine and it could not be used.
