    Production Date

    Hi

    Does the first or first+second digit tell the machine production year (Sharp MX 3110)?

    It's the first digit of the serial # for the year.

    Ok so nothing changed. I remember it was first digit for older machines like 2300 and was interested if they change coding after 2010.

    Last digit is the month.
