I do apologize. that's what I am saying, I am not sure which one it was .I had the same problem pod-1 ... I changed EVERYTHING the helpful techs were suggesting fuser/fuser drive ect. nothing worked.so I ordered those parts for a shot in the dark. low and behold it worked. I did notice skew ing of the paper itself, feeding from tray 2 after it jammed.

indeed...the one-way gear in the fuser drive unit is the cause of the problem...unless the unit you installed was fresh out of the box...

It was a brand new unit.

If it was an updated unit, I'm not sure. Have you tried a registration adjustment for lead edge? How many clicks are on the unit?

    Re: MX-M753N POD_N1 Revisited

Thanks for all of those who responded.

Today I installed a New transport unit CFRM-1117DS53 then ran a few hundred copies with no issue hopefully this is the solution.

    What I did

    1. Replaced Fuser Drive unit as suggested by a service bulletin and a few techs
    2. Replaced Fuser this seemed to work for a while
3.replaced left door assembly from a known good machine ( did not help at all)
4 Replaced Transport Unit CFRM-1117DS53 ( This seems to be the solution for now )

Note this machine only has 365 K on it.

OK The machine lasted one day and started jamming again. QAnother Tech took a look at it. He flipped the paper and he said it started feeding well again. He also said he thinks the Drum PO Fingers might be catching page and that the difference in curl of page from letter to Letter R may be just enough to keep it feeding well. We will see.
