Ok so My customer has a Sharp MX4100n with the C4-02 error code
I have replaced the PTU with a new OEM unit
still have C4-02
I have read that the next thing to do is replace the PCU PWB and/or check wire connections
Hytec tech support is saying that the HVU is also possible.
Any real experience out there with this error code not clearing after replacing the PTU?
You can't really reset this error code. Replacing the PTU unit usually get rid of the code.
You can temporarily bypass it with sim 55-01 changing soft switch 8 to 1 until the PTU is replaced
I do not see anywhere to reset the PTU counter.
So, I guess my answer is no I haven't
Any further info on this?
