    Question "Please Wait" MX-M565

Already solved, post for future 'Google' searching techs: It was a corrupt SD card. Generic SD Card says OrionIT MFP_PRG 0300o1. Swapped out for a good SD card from a 365, works great. (Note: Both MFPS have no DSK)

I have a question! I saw some of our community posts that say some of you tend to clone SD cards. What tools do you use for this? And what kind of SD card do you use? Can you tell me the procedure and method of use? Any help would be awesome! Thank you!

    What they said!

    Procedure
To start with, you have to already have a good image file of the file (in this case) MX-M565!
Note weather MFP has DSK or non-DSK!
Get those 8Gb blue SanDisk SD's from Amazon.
D/L the HDD Raw Copy as stated above,
Place the SD card in your SD card reader, start up HDD Raw Copy and choose "SOURCE" file which will be your good copy of image file.
Next, Select TARGET which will be the card reader.
Select START. When finished it will say complete.

I can never see anything on the cards in Windows Explorer, but the image is on the SD card when you finish.

You can use a 16Gb if you have one, just no less than 8Gb. I keep extra 8's on hand because the original SD's fail so often.

    Good luck

p.s. Just for giggles... here is the link on how to do the mSATA's in a previous post.

Confirmed this works! Did it with the good machine I used to scrap the SD card.

    Thank you!

As these machines age, the ones with the fax kits will blow these cards after about 4 years. Sharp made 1gb of memory on the SD card for fax. After years of reading and writing, it fries the SD card. If it has a fax and acting squirelly, its time to burn one (see what I did there).

"Sharp minds" my card cloning ass!!!

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
