MX-3050 1st cassette not held in tightly

can anybody tell me how to replace the "U cassette lock" on the MX-3050 ? I can get it loose, but I can't seem to get it out....does it come out the front? or must you remove the back cover? is there 1 or 2 of them for the first cassette ?

Twist is sideways the slide it out to the left. Be sure to hang on to it though as I lost one yesterday in behind and was not about to remove all the boards to get it.
