Jamming in ADF AR 336

I have this Sharp AR 336 that has a little over 200,000 copies on it that likes to "accordian jam" right before the white feed belt of the ADF. Everything was cleaned and still cannot figure this out. Ihave taken this apart to insure there are no little bits of paper lodged any where. I did however removed the rear ccess cover where the board for the ADF is located. There is an LED that flashes all the time (the one that is next to the DIP switch. Were do I o from here?....any help? Thanks, Steve

I'd start by lowering the hinged sections on the underside, far left and far right. Clean the sensors and make sure the black felts are clean. Re-calibrate the sensors in simulation 53.

You may just discover an obstruction at the lower left. =^..^=

I had the same problem long ago. The copy glass goes a certain way, if it is backwards it will do this. It was too long ago for me to remember which way it is supposed to go but try flipping it around. There should be a white and possibly a yellow mark on one side of the glass. Sounds nuts but it did fix the problem. I think one edge is beveled and one side of the glass is static dissapative. Wish I could remember more but those brain cells must be on their way out.
