We got a machine in that had been damaged we have swapped the display from a functioning unit and replaced the MSATA Board

The machine will not boot up if you start normally Power on press start button. But if you turn power switch off then on it will boot up with a E7-C0 code displayed on screen. You can get into service code but when I tried to do a FW update the machine locks up after I select FW Update.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Trouble detection SCN-MFP
Cause TPM PWB connection trouble.
TPM PWB used in other MFP was attached.
Check & Remedy Power OFF/ON to cancel.
Check connection state of TPM PWB connector, harness.

I always try to list the solution to an issue when I find it.

The TMP board is the board in the digital security kit it also comes with DSK Memory.

This machine came to us damaged and it wouldn't boot up

One of our techs replaced the SATA and the memory, this has been a solution for machines that wouldn't boot up in the past due to a bad SATA.

What we found is that the code shows a conflict wit the DSK. We put Memory card for DSK Back and kept new SATA.

Machine went into emergency FW mode installed DSK it took quite a while for it to install.

After install everything seems fine.
