Sharp 314 - Bypass is activated even if I send to print in tray 1 or 2

First of all, Sorry if my english is not good. I have a serious problem with Mx-M314N. a Days ago everything was working good, but today this is what happen. I send documents to print on tray 1 for letter and 2 for legal, that works fine, but, the rollers of bypass tray activate like if there is a paper there but obviously theres nothing, so the pick up roller is trying to take the paper. This is not causing problem with my documents because all of them get printed. But it's annoying. I also realize that the pick up roller is trying to take the paper BUT it's not spining, not even a little. Even if I send to print to bypass and put the paper there, same thing happen. I never have seen this before in any printer. So I hope you guys can help me please.

So the bypass pick tire is trying to take paper ... rotating, correct?

Sorry, As I said mi english is not good, the bypass pickup tire is trying to take the paper BUT it's not rotatin,, and like i said, it's doing it every time even if I send to print to tray 1 or 2

I would say that your bypass feed and pick up clutches are dirty. They are a spring and boss type and the grease in them tends to get stickyand bind. Also if the Teflon coating is wore off the spring replace that as well.

Hi everyone, sorry I didnt write before, I fix the problem, it was a parte of the whole case was broken and a gear wasnt working well, thank you guys.
