Next thing I'd check is line voltage coming to the machine. If you're running slightly LESS than the recommended AC voltage, I've seen several brands...INCLUDING Sharp, do some funky stuff.

I'd also re-seat your transfer belt assembly, making sure it's got good contact with the rear of the machine. Things get shifted in shipping every once in a while.

After following the recommendations here and several phone calls with a tech, they're going to send a new yellow drum. I hope that fixes it.
