    Paper Registration buckle adj ?

I havent needed this adjustment for some time so of course I cant remember what Sharp Calls it.

Im getting skews when copying from ADF or Original glass. Have replaced feed rollers cleaned transport rollers and adjusted values in 50-10

I think I just need to increase pressure of paper at the registration roller and increase what I have always called paper buckle.

Or if you have another possibility I am missing clue me in.

I checked the manual but am not finding it. I anyone remembers this adj. I would appreciate it. I will continue looking

    Thanks

It might help to know what model you're working on. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

On many models (color and mono) the rear spring pressure breaks the plastic on the registration unit. I have fastened a zip-tie around the plastic and then hooked the spring to that.

Paper buckle, loop or aligning amount is good starting point for that sort of problems.
I'm not by any means familiar with Sharp models but few things comes to mind.
Do you have skew from all paper sources?
Can you print not copy, if so do the printouts also are skewed?

😆, I remember old analog Toshiba 1550, they were subscribed to that.
I had a large paperclip and small torch in my toolbox to drill hole in plastic lever and hook the spring.

I agree with JR2ALTA on this as I have seen it a couple of times. It doesn't take much to remove the registration unit to check this out. If it is not broken check page 5-79 in your service manual. I think that is the sim you are looking for.

    Isn't that a DragonII?

I had a DragonI that the customer used such poor quality paper that the registration paper dust collector was packed solid in a relatively short period of time. It would hardly turn there was so much paper dust. =^..^=

I also agree with JR2ALTA that the registration roller rear pressure spring attatchment point broke off. I have also seen this on this model a few times. Take a strip if paper about 1 or 2 inches wide and roll it into the registration rollers at the front end and then pull the paper out. Now roll it into the rollers at the rear end and pull the paper. There will probably be no pressure or very little compared to the front.

Are you getting skewed prints/self prints as well?
