Sharp MXB-455W

On the new range of Sharp devices they have the same web page and UI (7 & 10 inch screen)

We've noticed on the MXB455W there is a submit button missing on the bottom of Active Directory section to register the AD settings... System Settings..Network Settings..Active Directory Settings

it should have ..Not registered and then a submit button underneath

The photo attached is an MXC303W which shows the button i am on about..

Firmware is up to date

Anyone know a fix ?

Same no button under "Not Registered" in "Device Registration Account" section.


Are you unable to Submit changes via the other Submit buttons?

I know sometimes the Sharp "Submit" buttons are very "section specific".

current there are problems with it.
Please take another browser ( IE / FF ) and test it

Did you figure anything out? We just installed 2 machines at the same customer, side by side, an mx5071, and mxm3070. The mx5071 has the register button, and we were able to register it to AD. The mxm3570 doesn't have the button, and we can't seem to get it to register. Seems like it's supposed to happen at reboot, but it's not. Frustrating.

The only thing that came back from Sharp was that they are both the New CR range but the smaller devices are CR 4.5 and dont have all the features of the CR 4 range..Baffling to say the least !!!

Were you able to get your 455 to register, or were you just noticing the button was gone?

The Active Directory connection is shocking, I've had such mixed results and have stopped using it full stop, nothing but issues.
