    Firmware question

We purchased 2 older Sharp copiers and the hard drives were deleted. Had a tech here this morning to look at them and said they are in great condition but need firmware. He is trying to reach out to some local colleagues of his to see if anyone has it available but said if I can find it I can have it sent to him. We bought a MX-3100N and MX-2600NP. The data security firmware he is looking for is MX-FR10. He doesn't typically work on these, is there something else that he would need? Thanks for the help!

You should just be able to reload the firmware using emergency update, and then he will need to reinstall the watermark and e manual firmware, then he will need to recalibrate the machine. If it has a data security kit you will need that firmware specifically.

Where would we get these? Sharp doesn't have support for them anymore since they are older.

Both of these models firmware are still available on Sharp's IDNC site.
