Sharp MX 453 When you do a 2 to 2 or 2 to 1 duplex it get stuck in job status saying Waiting

Things we have tried:
Duplex is not disabled
Replaced CIS for second side
Replaced Doc Feeder
Format HDD

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

This gen does not have the SD card like the next generation
Going to try MFP board from a 283 if I am reading the manual right they appear to be the same may have to change the eprrom

any help with this will be appreciated

I didn't see firmware in your list of things you have tried. Make sure you're at the latest version

Also, the 453 and 283 do not use the same MFP PWB, at least not according to the parts manual I have. You also have to check if you have the N or U version of the 453, as they use different boards as well

A machine that old, I'm thinking scan pwb, MFP, or HDD. What does the 5th page of the 22-6 show under HDD Smart Info? If it's anything besides zeros, then back up the customer data and replace it.
