Sharp ARC 260, jam in duplex mode

    Hi all

The Jam occure in duplex mode, in the fusing exit, sometime paper is
cuted just in the middle ( about the same place as the exit sensor actuator). I cleaned the duplex guide, the fusing connector springs
has been changed, but the guide is from the old style ( i just ordered
a new styled one today). Any help would be warmly welcome !!

Firstly.... what is the jam code??

If your paper is stopping in the fuser as mentioned, are you getting POD1 jams or Inverter Unit entry jams such as BPPD1?
Check POD1 sensor has not broken off from frame of the fuser, meaning it will still work most of the time, but gives alot of POD1's and inverter entry jams.
Check inside the inverter unit entry area. If you are selecting duplex, the reversing gate will activate and if there is something like a small paper piece jammed inside, the gate cannot move fully, causing jams at that point, meaning some of the paper will still be inside the fuser like you said, with the lead edge jammed just past the fuser.
If you are ordering the new reverse gate modified part, you should also use the new modified spring MSPRC3205FCZZ with increased tension. While you are at it, make sure the 4 small fuser exit rollers are intact and not missing/damaged.
Does the machine work OK in single-sided mode to either centre tray or left side tray?
If the jam is only happening at the inverter unit entry point, there must be something either jammed in that area stopping the paper path or reverse gate movement, or maybe a possible gate solenoid problem. Check operation of this in simulation.

I went a worked on one the other day that the plug was loose. The one on the back that requires a screw to be removed to check.

My jams did not make it to the fuser. Probably not going to help.

    Yes they are P.O.S.

The drum drive gears crack often
and toner charge screw up often and leave streaks in color.

I only have three left thank God.
