Sharp MX2300N Call for Service code F2-64

    Hi,

Our Sharp MX2300N printer displaying a "Call for Service" error message. The code given is F2-64. Does anyone know what this means?

    Thanks,

There is a problem with the Bk Toner supply.... check the End Seal was removed on the Cart, if not that, then call a Tech.
    regards

Johnny, you are right......... as always.

Most likely seal tape still on cartridge or possible blocked toner down-pipe.

Yes, call your local tech if checking the cartridge & a restart of the machine fails to correct your issue.

So I checked out the bk toner cartridge and there were no obvious problems.

I put the an old, used bk toner cartridge back in and restarted the printer. Once all the codes cleared, I removed the old bk toner and put back the original bk toner I had removed.

That seemed to fix it. The printer is working fine now.

Thanks again for all your suggestions.
