EE-EL on ARM351

hi,

on this machine i have ''Deve reference: 76''
if i try to execute 25-1,2 i -get this error: EE-EL
i got this machine at about 440k and it has 460k in since i got it didn't have printed black as black
drum counter was at about 200k and i changed: drum, developer, cleaning blade, main charge - i dont remember kit number
it was a change in the contrast but still black isn't black enought
and now when i try to execute 25 deve reference drop's from 76 to 63 the give me that code
i had Katun toner in it and now i changed to original

and one more thing it's repeating image afther 125mm fuser its all clean and new

i have a lot's of 5316-165-207 machine's that i look afther but i dont have this kind of problem's, more simple machines

I would try cleaning the ATC sensor and try 25-2 again. The 25-2 should be in the 90's range. As far as the image repeating, I have seen that occur on AR-M350 / M355 when you do not change the DV at 100K intervals. I even replaced the fuser rollers and within 10 copies the image was repeating again. So, I would try cleaning or replacing ATC sensor, 25-2 and maybe a new bag of DV. When you first replace the DV, remember to keep the copier door open until you get into SIM to stir the DV.

I would suspect a developing unit problem, specifically a drive problem. If the developer is not being agitated adequately you can get low readings.

If I get a reading that is outside 85 < x < 105, I just run the stir again. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times to get a good reading. I interpret this to mean that the developer has been sitting a long time, and took a little extra stirring. =^..^=

i only had AR-271DV so i put in the dv unit and tried to execut 25 but he was giving me valors as low as 36
so i put back the right dv and emtyed dv unit with black copies and without toner
when the machine tryied to replace toner i entered 25 and he gave me 103-5
he saved that valor and then i tryied to print but the black stilll isn't as black as it should be and differs when im printing A3 duplex - one face is a little darker than the other

Which model is this exactly? Does the drum unit have a main charger cleaner on it?

I think i would try a new developer unit especially since wrong developer was put in it. Ive found those units start to get hard to turn around 400k copies and all it does is put wear on the main drive pack and it's much easier to replace a DV unit than a main drive

I would also check all the voltages in Sim 8 to make sure they match what the service manual says. Also make sure you have Sharp toner and put a new bag of Sharp DV in. If you don't replace the DV unit make sure it's very clean before putting in new DV.

What is the humidity like in your area? Is it extremly dry?

Blackcat your supposed to shake the bag of DV so you don't have to do extra stirs :P

A little shaking doesn't always do the trick. =^..^=

I have never heard of the ARM351. I am thinking it is the same as ARM350 or ARM355. If that is the case, you should not be using AR271MD.

developer that's in the machine now only has 10k age

Still need to know what version of machine this is. Does the control panel have a Print button above the Image send or a Document File?

The developer that is in the machine now, did it have the katun toner in it?

When you changed the Drum and DV, did you go into Sim 24-11 and reset those 2 counters? The DV "should" reset when you run 25-2 but the Drum timer counter has to be reset manually.
