Exclamation Sharp AR-275 "IMC Memory Full" message

Have a Sharp AR-275 w/printer in a customer office. Every time they send more than one set to print, the above message comes out. It had the standard 32MB memory , I added 128MB, now it has 160MB. They same thing is happening. "IMC Memory Full" message. I don't mind putting and extra 128. But can it be saomething else. I just don't want to go ahead and put extra memory and the problem doesn't go away.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Thxs in advance.

Not sure if it will help you but you could try increasing "Memory for Printer" in the key operators menu under "Function Settings".

Just out of interest..... do you know how big the files are that are ripping to the printer?? Can you do a few basic windows printer test pages out of the driver and the error appears??
    Possible IMC PWB fault.

    IMC Memory Full

In printer configuration, the copier says that it has 160MB memory total.

I really can't tell how big are the files. Will ck tomorrow. You can print with no problems, except for this file. I 'll ck good tomorrow and will address the problem again in here. Need to know if this is the only file that is having problem or if it's all the files.

Come back tomorrow to ck what I post back.

    Thanks guys.

The "Memory for Printer" is a percent of total memory, I believe the range is 20% to 70%. The default setting is at 50%, try increasing "Mem for Prt" to 60 or 70%. This would, of course, decrease the memory available when copying.
