Feeding issues on a AR 235

I have this AR 235 that has a strange feeding issue, it will feed from the top tray great, the bottom cass gives a DPX_TOP misfeed code, funny thing, its not trying to duplex, single side copy, the paper feed path is different up till the p/s roller, and that where paper stops at, I have replaced the clutches on that tray, feed rollers, and the sensor right there at the p/s roller, its the sensor thats behind the MFT, almost to the rear of the machine, even though the sensor test showed OK, have seen them get flaky in use.
Any ideas, cause I am fresh out and running out of hair fast.

Isn't the sensor beyond the PS roller that would cause the DPX_TOP jam code? Have you done a Sim 30-1 while the paper is jammed in the machine? Is the paper in the lower cassette the same size as the paper in the upper cassette?

I've got two ideas. In neither of these cases do you have to run duplex to get the DPX_TOP jam.

    1) If you've got LTR-R or some other 8.5" wide paper in tray #1, and LTR or some other 11" wide paper in tray #2, and there is a scrap of paper jammed in the entry to the registration off to one side (where you can't see it, and it doesn't obstruct 8.5" wide paper)

    2) The upper right door latch is broken and the spring missing. The door comes open just enough to cause jams, but may not open completely

In the case of #1 you may have to remove tray #2 assy, and imaging components, and flip this little puppy up on it's side to get a good look. Enjoy =^..^=

All good ideas, already been thorough all that, have not found paper scrap, turned the 2nd cass to 8x11R, no good there, and the sensor in the delivery frame that shows up as DPX_TOP, at least I want to say thats it, allows paper to pass from the 1st cass.
