AR450UH/LH vs AR455UH/LH

Any body putting the ARM455 fuser rollers in the old ARM450's?

The fuser unit as a whole is different in some way since a ARM450 won't see the 455 fuser but putting the rollers side by side there does not look like any difference.

To bad the drum rebuild kits have different chargers. Would be nice to only have to stock drums for the ARM450.

They will interchange. But use the AR-M450 heat sink roller. The segmented heat sink roller of the AR-M455 will leave you stripes of toner buildup on the rollers, where the solid heat sink roller will not.

Are you talking about the roller under the preasure roller that rides on those crappy plastic bushings?

I don't know what Sharp was thinking when they maded that segmented cleaning roller. After my first set of fuser rollers crapped out when the 455 came out i saw that roller when rebuilding. Ripped it out and put a 450 cleaner in it's place. Firmware update and never had that problem again. 99% of the time i can get 200k out of the fuser. I don't try for 300k though.

Thanks for the info guys. One less thing to stock.
