MX4501N E7-90

Tech has reseated all connectors on PCU pwb, and firmware is up to date (1.18J). Trouble returned after 30 minutes of testing. Our next step will be to re-flash and if that doesn't correct problem we will then replace PCU flash ROM. Any other areas we should look at? Thanks in advance...

E7-80 & E7-90 is a faulty MFP, not the PCU board. The problem is the ICU component of the MFP. Has nothing to do with the PCU board. Seen it many times on the C-Jupiter machines.

Also, your firmware is VERY old. We are up to 02.11.J0 for that series. I haven't seen firmware so old for many years. I can send you this if you need it. Fixes alot of issues. We were on 02.10.J0 for about 10 months, only just gone to 02.11.J0 recently.

oops, sorry Zootech, I didnt realise you were talking about PCU firmware. You have the latest. It's cool. We usually refer to the ICU/main version numbers when talking about firmware versions.

MFP board for sure!!
