MX2700 please wait adjusting every color copy

M2700 will say "Please Wait Automatically Adjusting" every color copy. Does not occur on black and white copies. Tried changing temp/humidity sensor. Checking and cleaning thermosters, Update firmware and recalibrate. Tried new outlet.

25-1 seems normal, 44-28 seem to be all at defaults and fuser temps are at the correct settings.

Do you have a LCT (large capacity tray) installed on the right side of the copier? If so then make sure the bypass tray is in the up position. There are 2 small vents that when the tray is down the machine does not get enough ventilation with the LCT installed and you will get this message.

    Good luck.

    Change sim 55-03, switch 2, bit 2, from 1 to 0.
This disables most secondary belt cleaning messages ('Please wait automatically adjusting').
If you're sure you are running the latest firmware, then the secondary belt cleaning timing intervals are at their maximum setting already.
I'd remove the devs and visually inspect each (I know you said 25-01 seems OK). If it is happening only on color pages, Im thinking the issue is color dev or drum related. Check 44-14 for anything abnormal in the temp/humidity sensor readings. I've had a crack in the wiring harness going through the Bypass tray hinge joint area cause incorrect readings on the temp/humidity sensor (high bypass tray up/down use). If you have a wiring harness problem to that sensor, or a drum/dev problem, the machine is compensating by perfoming process control as it thinks it needs to.
How much coverage is on each color page? If it is close to full coverage/100%, the machine will actually do alot more process control anyway.
In sim 44-28, there are 2 ways of managing process control timing, either by number of pages or specified toner consumption amounts.
You can extend the timing by page count if you change these values.....
Item E is ON, Item L & M change from default 20 to new default 30. This will almost double the accumulated drum rotation distance timing before performing another process control (L = black, M = color).
If you want to use timing by toner consumption instead, use these settings......
Item E is OFF, Item G is ON, check Item N is set to 100. If it is lower, the machine performs more procon for heavy toner use. If your client is mainly doing heavy coverage pages, more or less procon can be set by changing Item N. You would be better off using the first method, but check this anyways.

If you have a spare fuser unit, install it and check operation. It is commonly known that a faulty lamp within the fuser, will still allow the fuser to warmup to the required temp (but slower), and continuous printing drains heat from the rollers (especially color toner due to multiple layers), therefore the 'Please wait' message could be the fuser re-heating per page. This is common on the Hercules and other Sharp machines I have seen in the past.

Perform full color calibration with the calibration jig.
