    New PTC unit part number

Just found a new bulletin on the new part number/design for the PTC unit.

It has been changed to increase the margin of C4-02 codes appearing.

Re: Ptc unit on mx machines

I have a MX3100 that shows a C4-00 error randomly at customer location. Replaced PTC, spring on secondary transfer, Transfer PWB and have checked all connections including the plate that the PTC contacts. I brought this machine in to the shop and gave the customer a loaner. I have had it at the shop for approximately 3 days running random print jobs and copies. Tried from sleep mode and warmed up. The error will not come back. I checked the voltage at customer location and it is good. Any other ideas out there?

Replacing the PTC and resetting the counter has always fixed this code for us on that series of machine. Being you have also replaced the TC board i would say you have done every thing.
