Sharp MX3501N
Getting Maintenance Code DK constantly flashing. What does this code mean?
-
The black drum counter has reached it's limit of 150K of the drum rotations has reached 840K. Time for a PM; other codes might show up soon after drum replacement and counter clear.

Yeah, that's the one and the best way to replaced those drums (as a unit) rather than just the drum, blade ,and MC.

Excellent! Thank you for your quick response!

Usually, the fuser web is due at the same time as the K drum, as its on the same 150K counter. When you change the K drum unit, you are going to have to check all counters in 22-1 and 22-13 to make sure nothing else is due or near-due. Make sure the firmware is up-to-date.

How do I clear the error? Code:dk

Are you familiar with Sharp machines? Is this your only Sharp machine? You should be getting yourself the service manual, as there is alot more to these machines than just replacing something & resetting it.
