arbc260 paper clinging to transfer belt

Replaced transfer belt and w/t box, now belt is slipping and not feeding paper to fuser. Disassembled and lubed all rollers except 1st transfer. I have heard of this a few years ago but can't remember the fix. Any suggestions?

The only right way I know is to use Sharp lubricant powder on the belt and on the cleaning blade of the w/t box.
Don't forget to clean the rubber transport roller on the transfer unit.
I Hope this can help you.

The Whale transfer belt rebuild was always a problem with me. Most of the time I had the same issues you have right now, even though I did eveything by-the-book. Wtroll is right.... you need to powder that belt & blade more than the book says. Apply alot of powder and make sure the frame screws that separate the 2 halves are tight and fitted square.
In the end, its not worth the hassle or time to rebuild a Whale belt unit. If you can, bite the bullet and get a whole new unit, which is reliable and works perfect each time. Most of the time, the Whale belt will do double life (200K) anyway. It has paid for itself.

This is news to me. I haven't had any real issues with rebuilding transfer belt units. Of course I am pretty liberal with the powder. I've always powdered the entire surface of the belt, not just a little on the blade. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    I know your pain mate!

I hate that f*cking belt. I had one call i spent close to 2 hours (never do a PM at 15:00...) and could not get the belt to turn, kept popping L4 codes. The one roller that is rubber coated and drives the belt, clean the shit out of it and powder the belt big time.

As Wazza said if you can't get it to go, get a new transfer belt unit.

Its all shits and giggles until some body giggles and shits...
