Cool Sharp ar5320 error code e7

I have just installed a new power supply on Sharp ar 5320. I removed the laser unit because I wanted to blow out the dust. On restarting the machine it started showing this error code that was not before.

Can anyone please tell me what error code e7 - e7 plain means?

there will be a secondary code to accompany E7

    E7-02 lsu trouble
    E7-12 abnormal laser output

are the most likely if the laser has been replaced

I definitely agree with Bonnie. You'd have a laser trouble code (E7-02 or E7-16). Hold the start button down to confirm the sub code. If its a laser code listed above, double check your cables/harness for the LSU, if you removed it and now have the code. You may have missed a connection.

You are right Bonie750 and am sorry for that Sir. The sub code is 10; E7-10. I have never encountered this code before - all the help is needed.

I have never had this trouble code before. The subcode is 10.

Read e7-10 ; Anyone with a clue please help. Bonnie750 and wazza are quite correct on correcting me. I had not known how to get to the subcode.

E7-10 is shading trouble (black correction)

it points to connection problems with the ccd or the mcu board.

my guess would be that the flat data cable to the ccd is not connected correctly/fully

Very good chance you will need a new CCD unit mate.

If you check/reseat all cabling as Bonnie has stated, the copy lamp lights up OK, the firmware is up-to-date, the mirrors/optics are parallel and the code is still there, time for a new CCD unit.
