Sharp AR337 fuser same as Xerox Workcentre C226?

    Hi all

    I have a Sharp AR337 with error H5-5.

I know this error is a fuser error in a Xerox Workcentre C226 but unsure if the Xerox C226 fuser is compatible in the Sharp AR337?

Can anyone let me know if they are compatible with each other?

The thing is I have a Xerox C226 fuser. . . . and would like to know if it will work in a Sharp AR337?

    Many thanks

No it will not. They were equivalent to the Sharp ARC260. There is not an H5-5 error. There is a H5-01 and H5-02
    Trouble code Content of trouble

    H5 01 3 continuous POD1 not-reaching JAM detection

    H5-02 Fusing thermistor abnormality PCU

haha i bet Xerox had a wonderful time with a Sharp ARC260M and their famous 6 year leases.

Jon AR337 is a black and white machine. That Xerox/Sharp nightmare is a color machine which is totally differnt.

    Thanks all

I thought it was color but must be mixed up with a different machine!

Can you let me know how to enter diagnostics and clear errors?

    Thanks

    on the panel enter in:

P, Interrupt, Clear, Interrupt. You have to do it fast.

Enter sim 14 and press the start button. Execute and confirm and the copier will reboot and clear your H5 code.

Use Sim 22-3 to see were your jams are happening. Sim 30-1 to check sensors.

Make sure all of the jams are cleared from the fuser before clearing the code. If not, you may damage the soft lower fuser roller. Lift the upper fuser pawl assembly to check for for hidden jams. These are good at making nice, small fans that may may not be spotted right away.
