It goes into error when I attempt double-sided copies only.
I had a tech out last year and it still failed. He thought it was an expensive fix to do double-sides.
I just need it now for single-sided copies.

What have you replaced to fix the original problem? What are the jam codes now?
Epic thread necro, 2007. +1
No, this comment was not meant to contribute anything, and I haven't seen an AR-286 ever.
I do not know what the tech replaced. It was over 1 year ago.
The only error code displayed is H5-01. There does not appear to be a paper jam anywhere in the unit.
I would probably be too new to the copier game to have seen one, and from what I've seen of our lists, none of our customers have one.
If you want to act like a service person you can start by purchasing a manual and reading it. That what us professionals do, a lot. When you figure out how to access simulation 22 you will be able to view jam codes. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
