    Sharp MX-M620N Scanning Question ?

After I have the document scanned and stored on the hard disk of the copier how can transfer the file back to the PC ?

I'm using the USB cable and don't have the network setup on the copier.

Thanks for any help you can give me !

To enable the scanner function, the product key must be acquired.
    • For models on which the printer and network functions cannot be
used, a printer expansion ROM and a Print Server Card must be
    installed in advance.

I checked that the network card is installed and it is: Now I guess from the above post that I need to see if the "printer expansion ROM and a Print Server Card" is installed ?
Is there a menu and sub menu that I can find out is they are installed in the service menu ?

    Thanks Scott !

Simulation 22-10 will show what options the machine has. A look at the MFP board will let you know if the NIC is present.

Scanning to the copiers hdd is to be able to print the same document over and over from the copiers hdd. Not having to run an original over the optics.

Once the MFP is visible on the network just imput the IP address of the copier into a web browser. This will bring up the embedded web page. On the left click document filing. There you can access your saved scans and manage them.

If you move them to your PC (saved to PC) from this page they are saved as a .bin file on your PC since this is how the copier sees it, not as a tiff or pdf!!!!

    Good luck.
