Have you checked the soft switch settings in the machine? Is this to all other outside fax machines, or one specific fax machine? Clear out the fax memory?

That's one way of doing the memory clear (but it's function 9*8#7). That will clear all memory, to clear just the image memory, press and hold down the start and stop keys while powering on and select 2.

One thing to keep in mind here. The sender makes all the decisions regarding paper selection & reduction during the handshake.

So for example, fax A is sending to fax B.
During the handshake fax A determines what paper sizes and reduction are available on fax B. Then fax A sends the documents in a format that fax B has capabilities for. The reduced image is being decided at the sender fax A.

A very common cause for these reduced images occurred on the Tiger and Jupiter series. If the paper length sensor in the SPF was stuck down, broken, or had extraneous paper stacked on it, the SPF determined that the originals were 11 x 17, not 11 x 8 1/2. Proper handling of an 11 x 17 original is to rotate the image 90 degrees and reduce it 64%, which is exactly what it would do to the 11 x 8 1/2 original image. Another reason the image may be reduced is if the original is feeding through the document feeder too slowly, making fax A think that the original is longer than it really is, requiring reduction. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
