    Removing Saddle Stitch Stapler MX-FN10

Having done this a few time, not to mention the manual for this is not so great, I decided to snap a few shots along the way. I did not include covers as I feel if you cannot get the covers off, you have no business touching what is behind those covers.

Removing it was a PITA but getting it lined up properly when you reinstall it is worse!!

So glad I found this thread. It helped a lot. Thank you. I really want to have the other guy in the shop put it back together because I sure don't want to. But I'm pretty sure he'd tell me where to stick it.

I hate this finisher. Loud, whiny, and the most awful drive design for a stapler I have possibly ever seen.

None the less, glad it helped.

Try firmware first. Each engine has specific firmware for the FN10.

Re: Removing Saddle Stitch Stapler MX-FN10

I got called into the office after replacing this stapler the first time. I Forgot to align it the first time, made a nice noise. Then, when I was almost done the bearing dropped into stapler. By the third time I got pretty good at it...

"4 hours? On one call? Where were you really?"
