    MX-M363N scanning

    Wondering if anyone out there knows of a way to set up scanning for Apple computers. I once had a setp by step procedure, but misplaced it. Thank in advance. Ron

    Check IDNC there is a bulletin on setting up scan to FTP on MAC's.

    Pretty easy once you figure out which machine name that it uses. Are you putting it on X 10.6 or an older unit? There are differences depending on the operating system. Here is a short list of things to do or at least look at. I didn't use all of them but most of them are correct for 10.6.

    If they are running OSX 10.7 or above it's a booger. I haven't been able to get it to work although if you google it there are some people saying they can get it to work. A client of mine had to use a third party software to get it to work called Dave. If it's 10.6 snow leopard or below you're golden with the info above.
