There is a "Release Machine Lock" button in the web page. I don't remember off the top of my head where, but I want to say in the security settings.

I believe that one is for user authentication purposes when a user locks themselves out trying to guess their own passwords...

I had some rare, free time today and attempted to VNC the combinations to the machine. The lag over the network made it clear this would not work; a crossover would probably be just as clunky.

Maybe it would be better to try on a 4111/5111? I hear they support gigabit lines...

It's True my friend. Sharp doesn't want Third Party players to Reset the Meter Reading and re-sell the used m/cs. But, again we, authorized dealers are unable
to reset the counters of Demo m/cs in the Show Rooms as well as the m/cs sent out for the Demo for a day or two especially for the Tenders. We are stuck.
I don't see why anyone should be resetting copy counters, regardless of whether the machine went out on tenders or demo. It's just underhanded, it would be like resetting the odometer on a car lot after every test drive.
