SPPD1 and 2 are usually dirty sensors in my experience, even in the cleanest environments. I've never been able to duplicate it on site but I clean the sensors and they stop calling about it. I've also heard tales of SPPD1 jams being caused by poor timing of the registration roller, but I can't confirm that myself.
Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?
Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention these are new machines about 1 month old and they replaced the arm550 which they didnt have issues with other than normal jamming
Set the original mode to Mixed Originals as most title companies scan letter and legal sizes in one stack.
You can also print 23-2 and look at the total count at the time of the jam. If the count remains the same, they are trying to rescan the same damaged original over and over.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
Thanks for the reply, yeah its already setup for mixed as thats all they scan. It seems as soon as they got these models they started having frequent jamming. Also happening at different branches of same customer
Take a lint free towl, run it through the feed roller and the one way on the shaft, if the mach has a moderate number of feeds, take some high grit sandpaper, and scuff up the area the one ways ride. The newer dspf the factory has been using a thicker grease on the oneways and shafts. (Twist the towl up to get it through the hub, run the one way in both directions.) just this little quick routine can help reduce jamming by 75 percent. I'm a firm beliver that sppd1n james are due to one way slippage.
Where the heck is my spring hook?
Thanks for the reply, I didnt think that new machines would have that problem but I should have tried it because I do clean the one ways on the older dragons. The machines are not in my area but I will pass it along hopefully will help. I will update when I find out . Thanks again

Look at the DSPF control PWB. The newer models should have a 55 printed on the board. One of my machines had a 62 printed on it and that part number doesn't exist. Replacing this board with the correct part number solved this issue on my machine. I attached a picture.
Thanks for the reply i will check that
