    MX-4500n U2-05 error

    Error reported went on site cleared trouble would ping but not print. Reseated all the cards and the hdd. There are no security kits and user authentication has never been switched on.The hard drive was formatted via sim 62-1 and I connected to my laptop pinging both ways but wont print. Error code U2-05 reappeared.Cleared again changed 62-12 from no to yesFormatted again

    When you use SIM 16 to clear the error, it resets a lot of the settings. Use 56-1 to export settings BEFORE you run SIM 16.
    Check that the printer ports were not disabled after the reset.

    Cheers Mojo,Wasn't aware of that I reflashed the firmware and away it went would that have done the same job?Anyway cheers for the info and at least I know for again
