Is the the scanner defaulted to monochrome? Have you tried changing some of the scan settings?

Do the color copies look similar? =^..^=

    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Have you tried a different monitor/PC? Maybe it's just a calibration of the monitor that needs to be done.

No two machines are ever the same. Give the scanner a good clean, including any white references, then perform the usual colour calibrations.

I've had faulty scans on this unit turn out to be bad memory. Have you tried replacing the RAM chips?
