Anyone come across this problem and solution???
Most of the time when I see this issue, the staple cartridge isn't inserted 100% of the way.
Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?
Check the connectors going to the staple unit. It's been a while since I had to dig into one of these and I can't recall if it's a ribbon cable or other.

I had this problem when using generic staples.
Check the wiring harness to the stapler, I have had them rub through the insulation and cause random problems . Might be worth looking at. Had to splice a bit of wire to fix the problem.
Good luck.

Hi
I have the same error on my ar-m451n which shows "add staples" but i checked and i found that the staple cartridge is 70% full and the cartridge is inserted correctly , but i found that amazingly the home positioning sensor of the stapler unit and one spring is detached from it , i download and read the service guide of ar-fn6 finisher but i don't find how i can open the stapler unit and attach that part again . i will be happy if any of you could help me .
thanks a lot
home positioning sensor shows in attachment with number 20
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
