    We have an mx7040n freezing up like that (and throwing L8-20 codes) randomly when connected to network. All boards have been replaced, firmware latest as well as drivers.... IT says everything is ok on their network (though I have learned not to trust them IT guys)....

    I have had this happen many times, and it was always someone printing from the internet
