Check for amount of memory installed on a MX-M503N

Our repro department is looking to decrease the processing times on a few MX-M503N machines. I see that there is a 1 GB RAM upgrade available for that machine. Is there a simulation or something of the like that would allow me to see if this is installed or not? Or to check how much memory is actually installed?

    Thanks.

Thank you! Do you happen to know what the standard amount of SDRAM is? I have 1 GB on each machine, which would lead me to believe that the memory upgrade is not installed on any of them.

You can add 1GB for a max of 2GB; if there is an empty DIMM slot you have the standard memory, and a 1GB can be added.

Spec books for architectural firms and construction companies mostly. I'm not really sure it's necessary, they just asked me to look into it on here.

I do hope they're not under the impression that more memory = faster printing. Otherwise; I do hope you're charging them for every penny of time and material that's going into it

Righto. Big files means slow printing. Memory won't help that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
