    Sharp AR-250 Over toned

First of all let me introduce my self, my user name "PCFSS&S" stands for printer, copier, fax, service, sales,& supplies. I started my own business after 17 years with Pitney Bowes among other copier companies.

My immediate problem with one of my customers is the Sharp AR-250 has toner dust flowing out of the developer unit on start up cycle. It collects in the middle of the charge grid and starts to form a solid black line that gradualy gets wider on the copy. The developer is rated at 70K, it only has maybe half of that mileage on it. Is there a way to de-toned the developer and then re-calibrate it , or do I have seal or filter problems, which still means a change of developer.
