    Sharp AR-M257 Generating pattern

Pattern on AR-M257.pdf I think that I have seen this before. Customer had called and said that machine was randomly putting marks on copies and prints.

I made copies and sure enough some of them had this on them. I also sent prints from computer and also had pattern on some of them. I reseated memory and sim card on print controller. Problem seems to have gone away. I think that I have seen this before and thinking that it turned out to be laser. But can't quite remember.
If the problem returns I will let you know.

    Thanks

If it returns, I'd replace the memory. Cool pattern! Thanks for the sample. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It does very closely resemble a laser pattern, ditto what blackcat said; followed by checking the laser as you mention.

Though possible, I'd count it as unlikely. Usually lasers fail catastrophically, consistently. =^..^=
