How good or bad are the M363N / M453N

I'm looking to get back into some of the Sharp line, maybe like 4yrs. old, to refurb and lease out, as I did a lot of Sharps years ago.
I need a good box to upgrade some of my rent/lease customers, I currently have a lot of Toshiba estudio 452/453 boxes out but they are starting to show their age.
So what are the pros and cons of the M363/453N machines?
Some of my customers scan 10-15k a month, how do the doc-feeders hold up?
Which finishers are the best to stick with?
If I pick a few of these up with 300-400k on the meter, can I expect to get another 300-400k out of them with normal maintenance and PM's without a bunch of off the wall problems and such?

    Thanks for any input.

I have two MX-M453 with MXFN-10 finisher in the school. It has 1.8M copies and only replace consumables for the past 3 years.

They're an improvement on the Dragon I, which doesn't really tell you much. The Dragon I had some problems to solve. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

These are doing very well. Have them in several locations where they get a lot of use. Have been very reliable. Issues with the MXRBX3 if you are using an external finisher and noise issues with the internal finisher but not too bad. Also issues with the external keyboards. Most of the issues have been covered in this forum very well so you shouldn't lack for information. Overall I would recommend them. 400K is 2 maintenance cycles and these are rated at 1.2 million copies lifetime.

    Good luck.

Great little machines once the kinks are worked out. MXFNX9 internal finisher is always noisy but otherwise solid. Keyboard issues across the board on all CR2 machines as a result of the KEY OP PWB majority of the time. Some odd squeaks that come up randomly on some machines in the drive pack or reg rollers but otherwise very solid as others have said.

Great, thanks for the info., a few questions,

Will the doc-feeders hold up to scanning 10-15k sheets a month and actually work... with just routine feed roller replacements? (Right now I have too many doc-feeder issues with Toshiba equipment)

What yield can you get out of the fuser and do you generally rebuild them or replace as a unit vs. cost?

Which roll-up finisher is more robust and reliable - the FN10 Saddle Stitch or the FN11 Stacker ?

Doc feeder is solid; shouldn't have any problems with that volume as long as roller changes are done on time. Fuser yield is 200k but an average Sharp fuser can typically double that. The FN10 is not recommended unless you have more than 1 because they have their own unique brand/quantity of problems. Go for the 11 if you're going to do an external finisher.
